About BIPC
On March 2009, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. signed a Sales Purchase Agreement with the shareholders of Bacnotan Industrial Park Corporation (BIPC) to buy the 100% shares of stock of the Company.
BIPC was used to be the industrial property development arm of
PHINMA, a Philippine-based conglomerate. Its former shareholders were Bacnotan Consolidated Industries, Inc. , Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development Corporation , Trans-Asia Power Corporation and Atlas Holdings Corporation.
Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. (PPPI) is engaged in the business of trading refined petroleum products, lubricants, chemicals and an array of car care products and accessories. It also provides services such as depot operation, depot storage, logistics, into-plane and allied services. PPPI was listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange in July 2007 under the symbol “PNX”. It is the first petroleum company to do so since the passage of 1998 Downstream Oil Deregulation Act.
BIPC is the owner and operator of Batangas Union Industrial Park (BUIP). BUIP is located in Calaca, Batangas along the deep-water portion of Balayan Bay where there sits its port which is capable of handing vessels of up to 14 meters draft. The industrial park is ideal to host light to heavy industries.
